About Us

Owners, Jim and Gayle Crayne run the day to day activities in the vineyard with the help of vineyard manager Eric Neil. Eric and his knowledgeable crew use their expertise for the pruning, leaf pulling, green drop and harvest.
Jim does the majority of the farming including mowing, watering, sulfur dusting and spraying fungicide to prevent mildew from damaging the fruit during the growing season. Gayle is in charge of the administrative duties from the bookkeeping to licensing and filing necessary use reports to the county. Both also have day jobs as well so they consider themselves weekend farmers.
Jim and Gayle have two sons, Brandon and Jason. Brandon, the oldest is married to Jennifer and together have three sons. Jason and his wife Alynne have a son and a daughter. Gayle’s parents, Ron and Arlene McClure purchased the 190 acre property in 1976 from the Stan McDonald family. Originally a sheep ranch the property is now mostly grazing pasture to replacement heifers in the spring.
